The Distance Between brings together photographs from three bodies of work: Held in Bone, Immanence, and Dignity. Although each began separately, bringing them together revealed connections I had not fully recognized before.

The photographs consider the distance between what we see and what we can know about another person. Some are direct, others obscured or fragmented, but all are concerned with human presence and what remains beyond what a photograph can reveal.
